Our Mission
The People's Unity Cup aims to promote inclusivity and sportsmanship through cricket. We believe that sports have the power to bring people together, break down barriers, and create a more inclusive society.
By organizing this league, we hope to:
- Increase visibility and representation of the Trans community in sports
- Create opportunities for Trans athletes to showcase their talents
- Foster a sense of community and belonging through team sports
- Challenge stereotypes and promote understanding
League Format
The People's Unity Cup follows a 10/10 format with official cricket rules and inclusive modifications.
Match Format
- 10 overs per side
- 3-over Powerplay
- Free hit for No-ball
League Structure
- League stage followed by knockouts
- Teams divided into 2 groups
- Top 2 teams from each group advance
- Semi-finals and Final
Regulations
- Anti-discrimination policies
- Professional umpires
- Match referees
- Code of conduct for all participants
